TO SUBMIT ARTWORK:
E-mail artwork to lisa@sccans.com
OVERLAP OR MARGINS:
Do not allow for overlap or margins. Layout art and copy to edge of envelope.
TRAPPING:
Trapping between colors is 4/1000 of an inch.
FONT SIZE:
Not recommended to use font size less than 7 points. Do not lock in fonts.
SCREENS:
Screens are normally on a separate plate.
HEAVY INK LAY DOWN:
Areas of heavy ink lay down are usually on a separate plate.
BAR CODE:
Bars should be parallel to rap - round.
NUMBER OF COLORS:
Depending on label design, screens, ink lay down, and can size, up to 6 colors.
CLOSURES:
Up to 2 colors. No close registration or screens.

Not available for stealth screening.
The formula:
Long Version:
- Pail circumference (measured at vertical print center) minus Calculated Stretch=Butt Print Length
- Butt Print Length minus Desired Gap=Max Print Length
- Butt Print Length divided by 2=Front Panel Center to Back Panel Center Measurement
- Center to Center Measurement divided by 2=Front (or back) Panel center to Ear Measurement
- Max Print Height is determined by allowable print capacity of a particular pail. Could be limited by cylinder travel, tooling or printing equipment.
Short Version:
- Circumference - Stretch = Butt Length
- Butt Length - Gap = Max Print Length
- Butt Length / 2 = Center to Center
- Center to Center / 2 = Center to Ear (or 1/4 of Butt Length)
